Birth of Photography
Invention Date: 1825
Niépce developed heliography, a technique he used to create the world's oldest surviving product of a photographic process: a print made from a photo engraved printing plate in 1825. In 1826 or 1827, he used a primitive camera to produce the first photograph of a world scene . Niépce invented the Pyrelephore, the world's first internal combustion engine.
Niepce was a staff officer in the French military. He worked in the military for a while, but he had to resign due to poor health.
Niepce has a brother named Claude who helped him with his inventions. Also worked with Daguerre
He died from a stroke in 1833 on July.
The photo above of the building: Captured on 20×25 cm oil-treated bitumen. Due to the 8-hour exposure, the buildings are illuminated by the sun from both right and left.
This is important because if he did not invent that than the print would of not been invented.
